But I hear that instead of a cold "continental" breakfast, you get some lovely parting gifts...shiny trinkets, perfume and some fancy tree sap. Sounds okay to me.

Macleans.ca : Why Michael Ignatieff should be more like George Costanza

This has real potential. On the other side of the House (or trailer park) Haper would get Flaherty some glasses and he could become The Green Bastard (Bubbles); John Baird as Ricky and Maxime Bernier as Julian. Hilarity ensues.

Macleans.ca : CBC's stand-up act

Watching right now....and every time they cut to an in-studio reporter (Cameron Macintosh in this case), the camera will NOT STOP MOVING. Why would you bring edgy, cop-drama production values to an H1N1 update story? Or is the cameraman loaded? Why does it keep flashing "News....Now" on the screen? It's a freaking news channel. And I have a watch. Got it. Heather is hard to listen to and now there is more to see given the CBC has sold all the chairs to pay for graphic designers and Colleen Jones' hair people. I'll continue to give it a shot but the morning show is leaving me disappointed. Will try later in the day.

Yay for Kady, agreed. But listening to Heather Hiscox banter with Colleen Jones 4 or 5 times in the morning with not enough coffee in me is SO PAINFUL. Can we get a two-for-one trade. Or one for nothing?

From Wikipedia: Because of limitations in make-up technology, it was obvious the Gorn captain in "Arena" was an actor (Bobby Clark) in a lizard suit So that's it, ex-Flyer and overall goof Bobby Clarke is inside the body of Jim Zorn. It was right in front of us. Thank's Scotts!

Is the RCAF is pissed off as well? Add some fire off the back of the C and Jarome Iginla would put it on by accident too. Good call on 'Nucks old-style. For a real fashion statement, Golden Seals white skates for all ice events would be out there.

Some $1 hot dogs, free parking, a special appearance by the Virginia Beach Beast and the latest 20 SUNshine girls to sign autographs for the kids and now we have a truly big event. (p.s. I will watch even if the page 3 girls aren't invited).
