With the aging of our population, many people are seeing a doc many more times a year than just preventative services. I think another note worth making is: Nurse Practitioners and Physician's Assistants can help to keep the costs of healthcare more manageable.

Kobe ... THIS is the catastrophic medicine the article noted. Many of us just need a personal relationship with a doc we are only going to see a few times a year. I haven't seen my doc in over a year. They called me once to follow up on the routine blood work they ordered.

KATU - Portland, OR : Double whammy: Fire burns apartment, then thieves strike | Local & Regional | KATU.com - Portland Ne

The fire department had not even cleared the scene when I showed up at my burning home. They handed out stuff via the windows to me. And at the end ... they boarded up the building. I had no idea this was not the custom. It was hard enough getting important things replaced after the fire, I can imagine thinking the building was secure so I could do other things first. SWIM: My doc replaced my meds. Said any meds exposed to fire/smoke would be considered contaminated.

There are a lot of focus groups who use social media to develop and maintain relationships. Examples of groups I am aware of would be: veterans from a particular era or conflict, people with a common interest or hobby (gaming, crafts, nutrition) or working professionals who desire to contact others with common goals (LinkedIn). Are they friends or just friendly? They serve a purpose.

Isn't 99E close to 8 lanes wide in this area? A pedestrian might not even be able to see a car coming when they left one side before the car arrived at the site. I am thinking: between Jennings Lodge and Milwaukee, some of those stretches are close to half a mile between crosswalks. Point well taken about the brown bottle courage.

Thank you, Tracer. I read it the same way. Was the story edited or re-written so some of us got the issue straight? The Officer found out on the day of the services for his young son. Even he thought it was a tragic accident at the time of the event. A few days later ... he was made aware. I smell a skunk when the department seizes defective equipment and destroys it. Who had THAT great idea?!

Do we need a fund to cover the fines associated with the artwork? It is not my kind of art but I support the business owner rather than the gvmt making their life tough. I assume they have a business license, City Hall knew the nature of their business. PLUS: it appears to be at least two jobs added to the community. Probably jobs not subsidized by grants or gvmt funding.

Some of the balance on the growth chart would relate to how tall the child was. My oldest son was 7#7oz at birth, and 36#/36" the day he turned 9 months. As a 30 year old adult: 6'5" and 200#. HOWEVER ... 10# at TWO years is criminal.

Space under end tables, draped with a table skirt, can store a lot of stuff. All of the space under a bed. Shoes on a door rack frees the bottom of a closet. Over the toilet storage racks. Wander around a store which specializes storage solutions. When push comes to shove: who really needs all of the stuff most of us have?
