Billy Long tries to portray himself as just the normal guy--the "citizen"--hoping to go to Washington. While he avoids the career politician profile, he seems to forget Washington DC is full of millionaires like Long himself, and they have become part of the problem as they are out of touch with the people struggling to pay their mortgage, car payment, and taxes.

The truth is, all the men running for Congress are citizens. Most of them have better ethics and a better resume over Billy Long. Long thinks no earmarks and Mel Hancock is enough to get him a seat on the hill, but the truth is Long is incapable of engaging in a debate; therefore he continues to drop names and tell anecdotes hoping you won't notice. All the while, a fifth ethics charge is about to be filed with the Federal Election Commission and he continues to lie about his gambling problem, which has led him to drop the average median income of the Seventh District in a couple of rounds of poker in the World Poker Tour.

While this bill is the right thing to do, most of Missouri's casinos are located near the state line close to other casinos across the state line who can't enforce Missouri's laws.

@redundant woamn, What do they call a person foolish enough to waste time on what you call unproductive? Where you hoping to be productive in your rant?

Or were just hoping to defend another Democrat who didn't bother to listen to the people she supposedly represents? I didn't see any polls coming from Arkansas that showed healthcare was popular. I think NeverWrong is right again.

You may want to consider donating to the Billy Long is Wrong Political Action Committee. Billy has such a huge lead financially over the other candidates, but he consistently shows he's a weak leader. You can make donations to the Wrong is Long PAC on the site as well.
