If Northern Ireland can effectively be passed to EU control, Gibraltar won't stand a chance.

Certainly house fires are down, the main activity of our local Fire Brigade seems to be attending vehicle accidents on the nearby M40. Logically, the Fire Station should be at an M40 junction instead of in its present location where the appliances have to make their way through town en-route to a motorway accident, but this was apparently rejected by the Unions as "putting homes at risk". I can't recall when I last read about a local house fire in our local newspaper, it's always motorway accidents!

Yes, it's your troubled and goaded mind not wanting to accept the possibility of anything you don't like.

It is large enough to have a significant effect on the overall NHS budget. They're not only from the third world, but the hospitals near Heathrow get a number of American with serious heart conditions who have no insurance. They can't be thrown out because the airlines won't take them.

Even if it was only five percent, that would mean a significant increase to NHS funding if it came from elsewhere. Do you imply that I shouldn't believe what certain newspapers tell us, and presumably only believe the Guardian.

In that a large part of the NHS budget is spent on health tourists and asylum seekers, surely these people should be a charge on the Foreign Aid budget, not the existing NHS budget.

I'd certainly support that.

I'd rather see a minimum age for MPs and a limit on the number of terms that they can serve.
This could ensure that they have experience outside politics and don't see politics as a career for life.

Probably true, but something has to be done and the police seem incapable of controlling the situation. These knife thugs must be dealt with and no-one seems to have a solution as to how we are going to make our streets safe once again.

Not helped by the number of police sitting at desks scanning the internet for hate crimes, a job which could probably be done better by civilians.
But if the police falsify the figures by refusing to record some crimes, no wonder the politicians claim we don't need so many police. Logically, if they were more honest and recorded all crime, the politicians might start to get worried.
