Once again The President has outmaneuvered the Republicans. You see, here's how it worked. The President railed against high income tax cuts so forcefully, all the while knowing that the Republicans and a lot of moderates in his own party would never go for it. Then when the Republicans said they would stop unemployment for people who actually need the money, he countered with offering up high income tax cuts in exchange for unemployment, something he knew would happen anyway.

Final score-Republicans about $123 Billion, Obama $600 billion and the fact that now Republicans are on the record as choosing to increase the deficit-the exact opposite of what they said they would do.

Ha ha ha.

So, how do you like your Republican deficit cutting hawks now, since not only did they NOT cut the deficit they actually made it worse.

Reagan-Yes the Great Communicator, the Diva of Conservative Politics, the Man to which all conservatives pledge allegiance, That Ronald Reagan- DID THE VERY SAME THING!!!!!!! He was trying to convince S.I. Hayakawa to drop out of the California Senate Race.

And it wasn't a big deal!

I for one, do not want My country back. I want my country forward.

And guess what? It's not illegal!

Hypocrites. Get over your little attempts to try to bring Obama down because no matter what you do, or what happens in the world he has always done the right thing for America, and done it well. And by the way, all those Democrats you targeted for removal in the fall, now are gaining on their Republican opponents and it won't be a bloodbath in November like you thought.

The problem here is that Tea Baggers as a group have no consensus point of view. Some of them are anti-government, some anti-tax, some homophobic, some racist. No one thinks they are stupid but they are woefully mis-informed.

The only thing they have in common is fear. They are afraid they are losing something they thought was theirs. The only problem is that it never was. Republicans try to make them think it was theirs by using buzz words like "family values' and "personal responsibility" but in truth, they regularly vote for big corporations, health care conglomerates, big business, and Wall Street, and very rarely vote for the average American.

I find it strange that the first Tea Party was formed as a protest against taxes while this one was formed after a huge tax cut. The truth is, Obama could do everything they want and they would still protest, so he might as well do what is best for America and ignore their protests. He will never be in their good graces.

By the way, all of those who are protesting the nuclear treaty need to read history. Reagan did the very same thing in the 1980's. The only difference now is that it is being done by a Democrat, except Obama is doing a better job at it by building a consensus to keep nuclear material out of the hands of terrorists.

Why do you think Bush thought Iraq and Saddam had nuclear material? Because Reagan didn't go far enough in negotiations with Gorbachev, that's why. And because he didn't feel the need to include any other countries in the negotiations. The progression from Iceland to Saddam is very clear.

On another topic. Conservatism has never worked.

Never.

Oh, it does fine for a few years if the civilization is sufficiently advanced but as a constant form of government, as a way to consistently solve the problems that are created by mankind moving forward it is an abject failure. Again, just look at history. No government regulation and tax cuts for corporations have always lead to one thing. Rich people getting richer and average people getting nothing.

Remember, there has never been a conservative Renaissance.

An accurate Census enables funding for the schools, parks, roads, police, fire, and other agencies in your area like ADC. Of course, maybe you like your roads, schools, and other public investments the way they are.

Uh.....it's actually YOUR money they are "wasting".

Please, please, please, please, please, if you live in a Republican district, or more to point Michelle Bachmann's, do not, I repeat, DO NOT fill out your census form. 1. It is against the law not to and you will be jailed and therefore not be eligible to vote in the November elections, and 2. Your Republican district will have lost citizens and therefore absorbed into a nearby Democratic one thereby putting your representative out of a job. Thank you very much.

You actually want the dollar to collapse? You want to drag people out in the streets? I thought the Tea Party was a civilized group. Maybe I was wrong.

Uhhh...Hello? Health Care is already paid for. And it reduces the national Debt. And it extends health care to children who can't afford it. And it means you can't be denied coverage if you have a pre-existing condition. All good things.

No you're not. Democrats will do just fine thank you.

Ronald Reagan would spin in his grave at the tactics your movement espouses. Barack Obama will win 2012 in a walk.
