I gain insight of aspects of life in Utah, details of Dream Home, facts about projects and techniques used, local lifestyle and I grow from that experience and shared desire to win. For that I appreciate those who contribute. Best to all in the contest to win the Dream Home. You're worthy.

You are absolutely correct. During initial design they forgot about that and came up through Master. Funny but true. After thought became odd headboard design/hidden solution.

No one has ever moved into any new home or space without making it their own, if you have a 1 room apt or a 20 room mansion, you can't call it home until moving things, repurposing rooms, painting, hanging pictures, taking down a wall, putting up a fence, shutting the door when you're tired of it all. For me every room has a view of what matters most to me, peace and calm mountains and sky and comforting sound of the river and things that move in the dark. All I really need I have, all I want is mine to have, all I see is a view of a dream realized. People with problems need solutions, people with money love having more money, people with time waste it, people who dream are sure to win if they have spirit to never stop dreaming. Sure winning opens up other options, for all who enter, chances open when entering and if you enter again tomorrow your chances improve. Here goes.

Why leave change to chance. Step out on faith, start on the path you need, change what you can and then you're always in control of your destiny. Be ready and prepared for changes with balance of trust in yourself and your ability.

I would need to install an intercom system to talk to someone is another bedroom, otherwise expect a whole lot of hollaring. But my dogs do go and fetch people and things on command. Or get a cow bell for chow time.

I appreciate the home for the work put into it. When I look at the great room and the mason work to achieve the completed design through use of color, texture, technique and balance, brick by brick, it's something to behold. A true example of what I get each year is to take away pieces that appeal to me, to learn and grow and apply those elements into your home, your life, your way of thinking. Appreciate what you have, remove what doesn't work and be open to new blessings. Brick by brick.

I wonder what the soil content is? Can flowers or tomatoes grow there? Thinking of seasonal magnolia, lavendar, peonies, hydranga, hybiscus, day lilies.

If I win I wonder if I'd be allowed to have an open house. I often wonder how the new owners of the previous dream homes (those who purchased from the winners) deal with curious visitors wanting to see the home up close. If that's an issue or not.
