Way to put a positive spin on this, Doc! If AJ can direct Shane through a brutal yet brilliant match, like we know he can, and if Shane puts in the effort to put on the best effort he can (like Angle 2001), then with Vince paying close attention backstage, this could result in some well-deserved upward mobility back to the main event!

The great thing about the tag title match was the level to which "suspension of disbelief" was taken. As you said, during the second fall, I went from "surely DIY are gonna equalize" to "Revival are gonna win 2-0" and Tommaso is gonna turn on Johnny for, perhaps, a feud in 205 or NXT.

In the end, that was an out-an-out classic that held me at the edge of my seat.
