Half the country is disagreeing with the other half. This includes everything from gay rights, government control of our lives, immigration, Iraqi war abortion, taxes, government spending and god only knows what else. Just like a bad marriage, all this country is doing is hurting itself. We need to start the “divorce proceedings”. We need to decide who will get what and who will go with whom. I know everyone will say this country will have to stay as one, but do you really want to stay with the abusers who will not be happy until they have beat us into submission. Why not let the states who want to take care and make the decisions for their citizens and as far as that go the citizens of any country who wants them to. Let us take care of ourselves, and make our own decisions and handle our own problems at a state level.
