Sports Fans, it's Friday night, so it's SuperMex. Gotta go get a bowl of arroz verde con carne asada and a cold one in a frozen mug. Catch you tomorrow, hopefully. Sammie, can you tell me where I can find some good tea parties tomorrow? :-) Oh, Sammie, shake the judge and tell him he's in contempt of court(ship) if he's not vertical in 2 minutes.

A friend of mine was editor of HLR. You don't get that w/o having published some really good articles in it. Obama never did. It was a backroom deal to fill up his c.v., probably brokered by Khalid Rhasidi promising a huge donation for his (Rashidi's) Saudi handlers.

If he's at a basketball game, he can't be signing any bum legislation. Was the game at the arena just a couple blocks from the WH?

ORR, I heard more of Rush when Greta played the video of his speech at the CPAC conference than I've heard in a year. But it's impossible to read a transcript of what he says and get the true gist of his meaning. Darfur is a mess. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't calling for action there long before Obama even locked up the nomination last summer. The problem is the incompetent U.N. owns the Sudan action. They're not going to let us, the U.S., take the leadership role. And I wouldn't want to under U.N. leadership. It was the U.N. and its generals who screwed up Moghadishu (sp?). Darfur is a human tragedy of epic proportions, and that's no hyperbole. I've bought two children out of slavery there. Soon as I get my CA tax refund, I'm going to buy a couple more out.

Sammie, I don't know what a "hastie hot" appetizer is, but Chardonnay would be enough by itself. But he'll wake up in an hour all randy and ready.

Is that why you can't sit down?

Sammie, if he'd scuttle all this Keynesian nonsense and get on board with some economists from the Austrian school, I'd be one of his biggest cheerleaders. Austrian school economics works, and I'd forgive him some of his other indiscretions if he started working on a winning plan.

Robin Hood, not quite right. She brought her inventory to him, as I understand it. He didn't have to send her anywhere. I believe she liked having a customer who paid top dollar, and on time. But he didn't do it for recreational purposes, as did Obama. He did it for his chronic back pain.
