Jeff, Your bigoted statements about morals couldn't be more wrong. You obviously have no clue as to the evolution of morals within society. Why don't you take your own advice and do some Google searches. Also you are wrong about charity. 1. Nontheists are very involved in the aid to Haiti: http://givingaid.richarddawkins.net/. 2. UNICEF, Red Cross, and many other of the relief organizations are secular. 3. The millions of dollars of aid that was gathered the other night on all the television stations was headed up by George Clooney (who is a nonbeliever). 4. Lance Armstrong is one of the main advocates against cancer. He is an atheist. 5. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest aid organization in the world. In many ways bigger than the UN. Bill and his wife are nonbelievers. 6. The same with Warren Buffet, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ted Turner. All are atheists! 7. Thanks. Yes discussion is what I hoped would come of this post. I understand what you say about his statements. However, I think when someone is under the influence of alcohol, they reveal what is hidden in the recesses of their minds. I have never had a few drinks and started spewing anything anti-jew, anti-black, anti-catholic, etc. So I don't know if I buy the drunk excuse. I think Cruise, Robbins and Sarandon, are different as well. They have different ideologies than me, but they are not necessary bigots or racists. Perhaps they are. For me, ultimately movies are about art and entertainment. If it is good, I will see it. As screwed up as Roman Polanski may be, he has made some great movies. And I won't stop watching them either.

I agree she is not a journalist (at least in the traditional since). However, she is one of the most objective of the \"opinion\" broadcasters. Even if you disagree with her, she presents a�compelling argument based on reason. At least that's my opinion.��

Yeah sorry. I was running out the door and wanted to get it posted. You sorta had to be reading my past stuff about Beck. I thought it funny that someone who believes in some crazy stuff (Beck's a Mormon) would talk about the Reformation and Galileo. But obviously Beck has no problem picking and choosing. He often quotes Jefferson saying, "Question with boldness..." but he never finishes the quote: "...even the existence of God."
