I don't actually own any rights to any of the pictures on that blog, but there should be a link to the original source if you click on the picture you want.
This is a really interesting analysis: I've heard of the Ophelia Syndrome thing before, and always found it kind of fascinating, although I'm not completely sure what my opinion on it is still. Really love the artwork.
Hey, I am interested in joining the group if that's still possible! My best times on Wednesdays and Fridays are either before class at 11, or between 2 and 3.
I didn't make it to the actual thing, but I totally loved watching the video! I think everyone did a really great job. I think my favorite part was watching this guy at the table right in front, as he was looking around, trying to see who would jump up and shout out Shakespeare lines next! Really fun :)
Hey, thank you for posting this plan for your research! You totally inspired me to do the same, and I think it is going to help me a lot!
How cool is that! I've been noticing as I read these plays that there are TONS of things we say without even thinking that came from Shakespeare, and it's cool to see a little deeper background on one of them. I've been saying "forever and a day" since I can remember, and then I stumbled upon it in As You Like It. Such interesting stuff! Also, that game sounds really fun!
I really like the second one: the emotion in her face really sucks me in, and makes me think. I love seeing how different people try to express Shakespeare artistically. That's super awesome that you stumbled onto these!
This is really a cool idea! I love to look at stories that try to explore different, unknown sides to well-known stories. I might have to read that Ariel book myself when I finish the tempest!
I totally love the pictures you've found for this! Also, I really enjoyed how you compared these two plays. I've never read Antony and Cleopatra, but since I'm pretty familiar with Romeo and Juliet, it was a really easy way for me to catch a glimpse into what goes on in Antony and Cleopatra. Very interesting!
This was really interesting! I also agree with Jessica, and I really like how you've written about an article that you don't actually agree with. A lot of the time, we just post ones we think express our own opinions well, but it's also valuable to analyze perspectives that we don't share.
