/Film : Question: Is The Man vs. Terrifying Machines Movie Concept No Longer Scary?

Hello, everybody. I don't think "Man Vs Machines" concept is no more scary. Because It's always interesting. We just don't want to see to many movies or tv shows talking about it at the same time. The fight between man and his own artificial creation is still a good idea, as well as the need to survive and keep or humanity. And, to my opinion, It's also a question of "design". If the machine looks scary and if its acts are terrifying (the more they aren't human, the more they're scary), it still works. Just take a look to the Frankenstein's creature. It's still frightening when we don't know what's going to happen, because the creature is carrying death...Another clue : real machines don't understand the basic concept of death, but we, humans, do.

/Film : Behind the Scenes With Robert Zemeckis and Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol

All right, that's it ! The first website I'm looking at, just after waking up, is slashfilm.com. I had a lot of opportunities to post some replies, but I never...since today. I must say that this featurette (just like any other) is too short !!! I love Jim Carrey and seeing him almost one time a year on the big screen is a shame. This year, we'll have the chance to see him twice (and even more, thanks to Robert Zemeckis), if this Christmas Carol movie is released in France before the end of 2009. This project looks definitely exciting to me ! And I also love CGI movies as much as live action movies. I'm sorry if I look confused and excited for this first reply. See you !
