A relatively simple law requiring proof of citizenship before being eligible for any services would cut the budget by billions. If you doubt that go to a welfare, housing, food stamp supply office and watch. Missouri has such a law and it is having a huge positive impact on it's budget. It is estimated by some that illegal aliens are getting approximately 90% of all handouts.

Actually, you have been badly misled. The consensus of which you speak does not exist. I suggest you read the emails. The CRU crowd even discuss how to make it appear that such a consensus exists. They even admit, point blank, that they have been proved to have manipulated data. There is a lot there that demonstrate clearly the corruption of those who have mislead you. I have read the emails. A really good source for them is http://www.assassinationscience.com/climategate/ Where the author has clarified what each one is about and follows the interaction of the "scientists." Unlike the AGW crowd John Costella includes a link to the original email so that anyone can verify the context and verify the accuracy of the comments. I am sorry but, after going through them I do not believe any of those involved, including Kevin Trenberth, can truly be called, "scientists. I suggest you read the emails yourself and quit taking anyone else's word, including mine. The garbage they have presented as science is arrogance on steroids.
