West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Nottingham Forest

A 2-1 win will do very nicely. You do fear though that our last 3 goals have come from the penalty. Lets hope we can solve that problem soon and having both Demel and Taylor back for the game away at Ipswich will be a huge boost to the club and with signings hoped and expected soon. We should have a strong enough squad to get us a result down there. Shame Cardiff won late on but we stay 4 points clear and all we can do is keep winning and grinding out results. Top of the league and lets hope that we stay there. Come on you irons!!!

West Ham Till I Die : Friday 20th Transfer Update

I haven't said who he is and I won't at any stage. It's just for those who are doubting my source. I will admit that it has been up and down but the players we want are on the money. Rhodes was our top target until it became fully apparent that the deal wasn't going to happen unless the owners paid extortionate money for him...and its a league 1 player. Sordell has been of huge interest and were in a bidding war with 1 other championship club to seal that deal. All I am doing is delivering news I am receiving aswel as news across the web for all posters to discuss. Brad

I can confirm that a revised offer of around £4.5m will go in for Sordell, im told an offer of £4.2m. Whu hopeful they can seal the deal soon. We still remain interested in Rhodes and are considering all options...though in my own opinion, I doubt we will see Rhodes become a West Ham player but you just never know in the Jan window...All i can say is that DS and DG going all out to get players...has been tough so far though...they expect positive news very soon. Hold tight. Brad

Celtic, I completely respect everything that you say and understand why you are frustrated. But the fact is that I have been asked to write updates daily for those who do take an interest in the transfer news. If you don't want to read the articles, no-one on here is making you. But please respect that some readers including myself take a positive interest into the transfer window and the on-going news as to who's coming and going. Thanks for you comment though and I respect everyones opinions on here. Brad

West Ham Till I Die : Transfer Update Monday 16th

To those posters who doubt my source: I can completely respect why you think I wouldn't have any information and could just be any guy making stuff up. But, the fact is that I have a close friend who works at West Ham and works closely to the playing staff and is able to get the transfer gossip which is often accurate. I'll be honest, the figures I receive may not be 100% on the money but they are close to it and I only post the info I am sent. I also follow Adzman on twitter who also gets solid updates which again, doubt it or not, are very accurate and are very similar to reports I receive from my friend. I have absolutely no interest in posting made up gossip as it wastes your time aswel as mine. I will only deliver information that I am told, wether you believe it or not is up to you and I respect that entirely. Just wanted to give everyone an insight into where my news is coming from. Many thanks, Bradley (Braderz).

My opinion...Deal. Do I think this will happen...in reality no. All those players you have listed would be excellent additions to the squad. Billy Sharp turned down Leicester, I do believe that IF we did return with a sutabale offer, he's sign because were in a healthier league position than Leicester. Kebe again would be good but Reading simply won't sell to a promotion rival and I don't think its wise to pay over the odds...remember the owners are paying out there back pockets. Both Mackie and Richie would do a job and I could see more pottential in those deal but have heard nothing on them im afraid. Id expect: Either Sordell/Rodriguez or Sharp for a small fee Celik on a free or a loan deal. The owners are working 24/7 but you only have to look at the facts and the figures, were in debt and without them, wed be in serious trouble and possibly out of business. Any deal will be coming out there own back pockets. Hate or love what they are doing...but the simple fact is that they have kept this club alive and are true supporters of Whu..give them a break and things will come good in the end. Will just take time. Braderz

West Ham Till I Die : Transfer Update 14th January:

We did make an offer earlier on in the window for Billy Sharp but we were given a firm no as we didn't offer enough. We have since turned our attention to other options, however I can't confirm if we will return to Donny with another bid if its true that Leicester have failed to get him but I will try and find that one out. Huddersfield have received bids from us Tom and can confirm that to you, in fact we have had around 3 bids for Rhodes knocked back. They are claiming that we haven't purely as a tactical way of either attracting a wider attention for a bidding war or to simply say that they will not negotiate at any level for Rhodes. I can tell you though that for now, that deal is dead in the water. Maynard is one again thats only been enquired with no bid going in for him as of yet. The two we are currently linked with is Sordell who we had a £2.2m bid rejected and Rodriguez who has been enquired and a bid of a similar amount to Sordell is being lined up. Elsewhere, Maeda ive been told has impressed in training and were waiting to see if Sam will give him a contract and the one to watch with regards to a wide player is Mervan Celik. He's a 22 year old free agent who we have put an offer in for, however he currently has 4 options available to him and he's mulling over each at the moment. Braderz

No worries Falvo, I have a friend who works for the club and is able to gain information and reports as to the clubs situation but mainly incomings and outgoings. This is normally why im quite accurate as he (my source) is able to pass that info on to myself as I always go on at him about what the latest is and he delivers the news to me. I also keep on top of Adam (Adzman ClungeWhu) source on twitter as there normally very similar to the reports I also receive so that allows me to trust that source and post his updates aswel as my own source. Hope that covers that for you. Any questions, feel free to ask. Braderz

West Ham Till I Die : Transfer Update From Braderz: Friday 13 January

I think you give a very fair account but the player himself is interested in holding talks with us but the club simply won't allow it. People keep saying "he will hand in a transfer request if he wants to leave". At first look, id completely agree. But remember, Huddersfield are the club who gave him his big break after they signed him from Ipswich. He has gone on to be a smash hit down there and the club is on route for promotion. Maybe Rhodes feels that he owes it to the club to decide his future this month before taking his own view in the summer depending on what happens with them regarding there promotion chase. Yes, I would love the player at the club and my personal view is to do all we can to go and get him but we can't go over the odds because that in my opinion would be a big gamble and a lot of pressure upon the lads shoulder to make the step up 1 division and possibly 2 if we can earn promotion. The info and vibes im getting from this deal is that the player is keen to talk but club won't allow for that to happen so Whu won't offer any higher than we already have. If Rhodes really is desperate to leave (which i honestly doubt) then he will hand in a transfer request. But as I have it, we have turned our attention elsewhere and are monitoring Sordell at Watford with a £2.2m bid already rejected.

West Ham Till I Die : Should we add a Goal Keeper to the January Transfer Wish List?

I agree entirely that we need creativity but it is proving very difficult to get clubs to agree to sell. Kebe and Rhodes were both keen on moving to Whu however the clubs have no interest in selling and will only consider if ridiculous money is offered. Now G&S are business men and will not offer over the odds for any player which is extremely sensible. Too many people want to see money thrown all over the place just to get an unproven player in. Why!? Yes id love to see Rhodes come to West Ham, but the fact remains that he is playing his trade in league 1 and an offer of £5m+ would be a gamble. G&S also have to solve the debt of the club and fund any transfer out of there own back pockets which isn't easy. They did an incredible job in the summer to supply Sam with the tools he needed and they are trying exceptionally hard as we speak to get new players into the squad. Keep the faith and ill report any news as and when im told.

News reaching me quick and fast guys: Watford have rejected an offer of £2.2m from West Ham for Sordell however the club look to set to instantly return with a higher offer to try and temp the club into a deal. Negotiations currently ongoing. News reaching me also regarding striker Maeda who many have been concerned about. Well he's currently training and has shone so far showing super pace and is a very sharp and accurate player. He looks keen to impress the manager and is doing his all to earn himself a contract.

Celik would a super addition to the club scoring 18 times in 68 appearances from 2008-2011 and also 3 goals in 5 appearances for his Country's U21 side. You are correct in saying he is a free agent however he has for bids/offers on the table for him as I understand it and he is currently weighing up all his options. We have also tried to sign Kebe (Reading) and Whittingham (Cardiff) but neither are willing to sell as we are a promotion rival. I think the problem is that by Sam stating he has 25 targets already on his list and he wanted to do his business all in the first week of the window is the reason why fans aren't happy. The owners are trying exceptionally hard, you can love them or absolutely hate them but they are doing everything within there power to get the players in, this window is just extremely difficult. As for Rhodes, I believe that the deal is off for the moment and that the club may return at the end of the window with a 'take it or leave it offer'. Maeda is on trial at the moment and Sam will decide on Monday wether to sign him or not. Im afraid its a bit quiet on the transfer front but I can confirm that George John should seal his loan move to us today with a view to a permanent move.

Corr I told you id give you the news as and when i received it. Right bad news im afraid lads. Whu look set to give up in the chase for Jordan Rhodes as Huddersfield refuse to answer and won't allow us to speak to the player. They want him for there promotion push and will do everything they can to retain him. The club is now resigned to give up on him and look elsewhere. Meada is on trial and will be decided on Monday while our attention appears to have turned to Watfords Sordell. As always, Ill keep you posted.
