I had a plane to catch as soon as the game was over. I almost left before the last play. Due to the last minute celebrating, I almost missed my plane. I left Iowa feeling euphoric after watching the best football game I’d ever seen. 27 days later I was in Iraq and watched the entire ‘05 season overseas. What a way to end a season. In many cases the military captured these detainees. The military has a court system in place that can handle these suspects. The constitution has many due rights laws. If the courts allow these detainees all of our protections, many if not all will be set free. For example, have you ever heard of the right to a speedy trial? Some of these detainees have been detained for quite some time without trial. Our constitution should not extend outside the USA. If the military captures a suspect outside the USA, the military should handle the prosecution.
