Our representatives have to be allowed some time to learn and understand how things work 1 or 2 terms does not provide them with an opportunity to establish themselves as either a good or a bad representative. 2 year terms do not accomplish anything - all they do is prepare for the next election and don't really legislate. As far as compensation goes I don't expect them to work for peanuts, they should be adequately paid but not be able to get those astronomical pensions, just regular pensions like some of us.

Just joined the group. Term Limits - YES! Change the House term to 4 years with 4 terms = 16 years and 3, 6 year terms for the Senate = 18 years. That's long enough. Reduce the size of Government - especially in Pennsylvania, we have way too many Representaives.
