By allowing the media to poison their minds against the "Conservative" America that was and making the "Socialist" America seem so appealing. By not making the right to vote a priority, we have raised an apathetic generation. By making "Politically Correct" the nation pastime, we have made them afraid to speak their minds. By taking God out of school and taking any control of classrooms our of the hands of teachers, we have created a group of Godless hoodlums who can't read or write. And by making a whole generation of "Dysfunctional Families" , we have killed the family unit with respect for the parents and elders. I am ashamed to say that I am of the generation who created this, but hope that I have instilled some values in my children so they can be some of the few who understand that being an American is something to be proud of and something worth fighting for. I too am new to the site, but enjoy the ability to speak my mind without worrying about offending the PCs of the world. I will step off my soapbox for now.
