Alex was already a manager at North Boulder Wellness Center when the show picked him up, because they loved his personality and tv persona. He then went to Aspen to work at a dispensary there and film further. He was not forced to quit or anything due to the show.
They filmed a LOT and had a ton of great material to work with. Alex was just in claiming that they chose the most stoner-esque clips to air.

Agreed. It's not exactly fair to count the students, who are going to school and are lucky enough not to have to work while they're there. There should be a check mark box on the form to show these students.

Not everyone has "daddy's money" to live on. On behalf of those of us who are balancing school with work, family and maybe a shred of a social life, I'd like to say screw you.

Who wants to study while they're traveling home or to friends and spending time with family for the holidays? Especially for the freshman, this is the first real break they get since leaving home. Not a good time to try to focus and study.
