IMHO, secondly there is no violation of Hippa rights here, the Governmental intrusion into everyday citizens has been a long and vigorous process which is about to get much worse with electronic data at their fingertips. Under laws where I live (AZ) you and your spouse are not obligated to divulge this information to anyone outside of knowing physicians and or need to know basis for future appointments and/or care for your son. Demand Social Services to provide you with the pertinent law regulating their intrusion and interference with your sons condition and what basis they intend to use any and/ all information pertaining to your son and his circumstances regarding his well being.

Morning Biker, your parent’s story is all too familiar to many Americans. I too oppose Obamacare but fully support that reform is needed in the Insurance companies , they wield their power and might, increase premiums or drop sometimes lifelong clients, once illness and or any claims. Contact your Senators, write them letters and demand their help, to prevent the insurance Company from refusing them coverage. Many have actively done this for their Constituents. It is very apparent to me, these new recommendations are actually falling in line with the original timeframe of the HC bill. If indeed it had already been passed, the new guidelines for mammos and pap smears would have just fallen into place!, nothing we could do about it at that point..(colonoscopy and prostrate are the other 2 that will go by the wayside) Remember, they have been planning this for at least the last five decades. Call your Senators today it must not get to the floor for vote!
