Huckabee is a big supporter but I dont think we was able to educate the public very effectively, I think there is a real lack of understanding about it. The beauty is it is simple, everyone pays by what they CHOOSE to consume. Also, eliminating the IRS removes the second most expensive agency in our government, second only to the armed forces. For the first time ever we would actually get the illegals to pull their weight. If we arent going to stop them from coming here they should atleast pay up! It will even allow us to collect tax money from tourists to the US from other countries. Studies show that the tax money that would be collected will FAR exceed what is being collected today, and the payout for each citizen will be FAR less.
