Breitbart.com : Splash! NASA moon strikes found significant water

A whole 25 gallons of water after we slammed 2 tons of spacecraft into it at full speed. Wowzers. I'm glad they found water but its still a huge up hill sales proposal to justify a base on the Moon. The Moon is utterly devoid of most needed materials since it never had a full geological experience that the Earth and Mars under went. The fact remains that to keep a base going on the Moon we will have to ship and keep shipping supplies from Earth. Mars on the other hand has every last thing a manned base would need in abundance. How about we do the easier mission (Mars) first and then try to tackle the more difficult mission (Moon). Also, the moon has 1/50 of the science potential as a mission to Mars would have. Mars has and had a climate, under went similar geological events, had oceans, could have supported life at one point, and gives us a launching off point for exploring and mining the asteroid belt. Besides, any equipment designed for Mars would be able to be used for a later Moon mission. Moon equipment (habs and what not) could not be used for a Mars mission. My vote is we do something new instead of going back and re-accomplishing what we did 40 years ago.

Yep. The only people with guns on military bases are the Military police, civilian cops (like in this case), and those troops that are on exercises. Everyone else is not allowed to carry.

I know the FBI and Army are still investigating what happened at Ft. Hood but the picture seems pretty clear that this was a Terrorist attack by one of our own soldiers. The other thing to make note of here is that this was yet another mass shooting spree in a GUN-FREE ZONE. Don't blame the guns, as they are inanimate objects. The blame lays squarely on the demented operators and horrible government policies that leave good citizens defenseless targets.

Breitbart.com : Obama says he will not rush Afghanistan decision

If he will not lead as Commander in Chief, be it an increase in troops or bringing our troops home, then he must resign. Playing golf and throwing parties at the White House while our boys get slaughtered in a pointless fight 5,000+ miles away from our shores is unacceptable.

Breitbart.com : Obama not yet sure of Afghanistan troop decision timing

This is not hard. Either bring our troops home or send every last soldier in our military has over there and end this stupid war now! Sure we need some back home to maintain our defenses but if this war is truly worth fighting then we shouldn't just sprinkle a few troops here and a couple more there. If this is even worth doing then we need to ship every last person available soldiers over there right now and turn over every last stone in search of Bin Laden. If Obama isn't willing to do that, then he needs to pack it all up and come home. We are wasting our solders lives and money Americans simply don't have to spend on this stupid stupid war.

And don't confuse me with a Liberal on this one. I'm a Ron Paul Republican. As strange as it sounds I'm a Republican that has read our Constitution and understand it has been blown off for far too long. We never declared these wars and so on top of the 100 other reasons we need to stop and bring our troops home, these wars are Unconstitutional. Bad wars allow our "leaders" to do crazy things like steal our liberties with the Patriot Act and tell us it keeps us free. BS!

We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with terrorists. And I remember 911, thanks. But I also know that we have been at this for eight years and history has shown over and over again that wars are just not won in Afghanistan. I'm tired of my family members have to dodge bullets and roadside bombs for no gain. I'm tired of America spending $1 Trillion +++ each year to have our troops in 130 different nations. We are not the policemen of the world and can't afford even if it was our job. And if you're worried that we haven't killed enough Muslims then I'd refer you to the numerous "official" body counts. We are way way ahead. When will enough blood be split to make you feel better? Personally I listen to our CIA when they talk about terrorism being a result of "Blowback". We started messing with the middle east's sovereign governments back in the 1950s and people got pretty pissed over it. Say, pissed off enough to strap bombs to themselves. If you don't want to listen to our CIA, listen to what our enemies tell us. They fight us because we went and messed in their affairs. Hell, Bin laden even said he wanted us to come to the desert because it would be the greatest recruiting tool he could ever weld. Wise up, think for yourself, and bring our troops home.

Here's an idea for protecting our troops and not having to allocate billions more for the war....BRING OUR TROOPS HOME. It's simple, it's effective and it's the right thing to do. Bring our troops home, from all nations, Now.

Breitbart.com : White House: Leaving Afghanistan not an option

Um...no. You see the major drive behind the vast majority of the current terrorism is the fact that we have been messing with the Arab world since the early 1950s. Read a history book or two and you might understand where some of their anger comes from. I'm not blaming America here. I'm merely pointing out that it shouldn't be a shock and that maybe we should think out our actions a bit more in the future. Don't believe me? How about we listen to what our own CIA has to say about this subject. They've studied all this and they have a term for what is happening. Its called "Blowback". Basically it means that when you mess with other folks, they are likely to mess with you right back. Pretty simple stuff. The fact is we spend well over $1 Trillion dollars each and every year to station our brave troops in 130+ different nations. And then you add the cost of fighting two wars on top of that number. It doesn't make since, it is in no way making us safer and it is destroying our economy and making damn sure our kids have no hope for the same promise of America we had growing up. Turn off Fox news, and read some books. Fox News is not how you get informed. Fox news is how they get you to shut up, pay your taxes and get numbed into letting it all happen over and over again. Think for yourself.

Not an option? Not an option!!!! Are you kidding me. LEAVE NOW!! Bring our troops home. We can't afford anything. We are printing money (crashing the dollar), borrowing Billions a day to stay afloat and running up the national debt at a record pace. And now Obama wants Universal Health Care......LEAVE Afghanistan and Iraq right now! We can't police the world and we never should have tried. This is ridiculous.

Vandal or not, this is America and he is an American. No one should get shoved into a trunk or forcefully kidnapped off the street. If he really did break the law than they can read him his rights and take him off to jail like normal procedure calls for. The cops had a much greater show of force on the scene so there was no reason for them to have to do a snatch and run.

Wait. How can I be the sheeple when I was getting on to others about just doing what fox tells them? I'm a former republican but I'm never going to be a democrat which is why I still have a tiny bit of caring if the party ever recovers from its long slow spiral downward.
Is this a case of seeing what you want to see? I didn't see any smile and the people around him were clearly disturbed by what was happening. I don't think they were military since their uniforms were off but they could have been cops. If this whole thing was staged, then how to you explain the cops in full riot gear standing off to the side who did nothing to stop a realistic looking kidnapping but instead held the protesters off by pointing guns at them?

BTW, does anyone have any information at all about the protester that was kidnapped off the street and thrown into the unmarked car? It looked like soldiers at first but I suspect it was cops wearing camo. Did he ever get released? Were his rights ever read to him? The guy being a protester is besides the point. This is America and not Iran. Cops shouldn't just kidnap people off the street and make them disappear.
