Rubio identifies himself as Catholic having been baptized, confirmed, and married in the Catholic Church, Rubio is fluent in Spanish. His father was a bartender and his mother worked as a hotel housekeeper in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rubio lived in Las Vegas from 1979 to 1985, before his family returned to Miami in the summer of 1985. He's been discussed as a potential Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate for 2012 before he was even elected to the U.S. Senate. Obozo only served a total of 137 days in office before he was elected by moonbats and liberal loons to screw up our whole country and the economy of the entire world.

I think you're mixing up constitutions, Husker. The U.S. Constitution is intended to restrict the authority of the federal government, not the states. In fact it empowers the states to do everything and anything not enumerated to the federal government. Unless the sovereign state's constitution prohibited state-run health insurance, car insurance, or ownership of domesticated animals, it is "constitutional" within the state. The only things that are a violation of the U.S. Constitution in the sovereign states are the things named specifically in the U.S. Constitution - slavery, prohibiting women from voting, etc.

You're not making sense - a Fox shareholder was a financial contributor to the building of the mosque, and Fox personalities were condeming the building of the mosque. It sounds like they were doing what political commentators, as well as news reporters, are expected to do. If they had supported the mosque on air they would have been a paid promotion for it! That term "Comrades" has been a bone of contention in the VFW for some time. In fact, several years ago there was a resolution at the VFW National Convention to change that means of addressing fellow members, due to the similarity to the way commies address each other. The term is somewhat traditional, dating back to WW-1 when soldiers were considered "Comrades in Arms." The resolution to change it to something else was defeated with the reasoning that the commies weren't going to dictate political correctness (or the term used at the time) to the VFW. The odd sounding term has continued to this day, though it is really the antithesis to the commie version. By the way, Babs Boxer is not to be considered a "Comrade" in VFW terms, although there are probably some Europeans who would refer to her as Comrade Madam Senator Boxer. I just refer to her as "bitch."

I really have little good to say about the guy. I threw a shoe at the TV a while back, and following that I contributed heavily to Col. Bill Russell to try to see the creep defeated for reelection. I recall the incident that got me riled was when he bounced into a hearing and made the statement that, "...Iraq is far more intense than Vietnam." I served in combat in RVN and was wounded (for real) twice. If Murtha's BS statement was true, we'd have another monument in DC by this time with another 58K names on it. I won't miss him.

Term limits on Congress will make that happen. By deinstitutionalizing federal elective service through greater turnover of Congressmen and Senators the job will no longer be a career. Those elected will have to leave D.C. and get a real job somewhere. Using the same argument those opposed use, if a Rep. or Sen. is only there for a limited time they'll work much harder at cutting govt. more quickly than they would if they had a lifetime to spend insuring their reelection.
