I agree with what you are saying and I am all for Madden to get into the hands of the casual gamer. In the same breath the guys and gals feeling that the team lied or false advertised the online mode have a point. I won't say that the statement regarding online speed was always meant to be set at slow this year. I will say if this was the case someone screwed up. To change it after release and league play has started does give a bad taste all around. I like the guys on the team and know they want the best version of Madden but to change after it's out is going to need a lot of work from the CM and the team to win back those mad. The bottom line would be your last suggestion with an elite setting. This way The team wins and the gamers win.
