And if you go by Japanese continuity, Twilight will die again, Equestria will explode, and Scootaloo become leader again but will leave. A few thousand years later, All the Autotrot leaders will look like Twilight, and have their own Element of Magic. At some point, Twilight will be reborn again as Star Twilight, and Scootaloo will be even smaller.

To be honest, I think that the Elements of Harmony were rather Carebearish, but I'd love to see Twilight fighting giant alien pegs.

Hmmm, I would suggest watching the 1986 Transformers movie for maximum effect. Much as I love the movie, it was actually pretty controversial because it literally killed off very well loved characters just to sell new toys. That's as much as I think is best to explain at the moment. I think watching the movie would help give better context.

I only said as much as I did to provide the historical context that the movie might not give.

Actually, I don't play that game nearly enough. I blame it on it being an FPS, but it's such a brilliantly fun game! With all it's stupid hats.
