Broodhollow : Happy Holidays

Poor Calvin. Not only is he peeing on the back of 5 million automobiles and praying in bootleg Christian bumper stickers on 10 million more, he's being chased by a vein golem carrying a bleeding coffin. All this after getting turned into a sparrow in Locke & Key and saving his friends from a demon-possessed transgendered human transmogrified into a rabid wolf. Where's Hobbes when you need him?

Broken Plot Device : Breaking Up

I can't imagine what something like this must be like. I hope you get everything worked out. What sort of guy would kick out a girl who plays D&D? The existence of such creatures bring hope to the rest of us. I'll certainly check in from time to time, let us know if there's anything we can do.

I SOOOO want a horse-helmet now. I've also always wonder what would happen if the comic Galagher, the Destroyer of Fruit, go his hands on Mjolnir, aka The Hammer of Thor. Watermelon seeds in ORBIT!

Broken Plot Device : Master Blaster

D&D is awesome, local folks used to rope me into 12 hours sessions on Saturday. Anyone here listen to the Critical Hit podcast? I've had it running in my earphones at work 4 hours a day for the last two months straight. It started as a trial adventure to teach people how to play 4E.. and from episode 5 on ended up becoming what would surpass most epic fantasy book SERIES if reprinted word for word. A crazy very creative DM and his band of pop culture geek miscreants trying to save the universe, or at least the parts they don't blow up themselves in the process.

Broken Plot Device : Possible Changes for BPD?

I just read the notes below the comic. Liz, you have a very entertaining webcomic, and I for one plan to keep reading it, no matter what update schedule you have. It's funny, furry, and I've even learned many interesting things from it, like how Roller Derby works, I want to go see some now. Workwise, I was actually a little leery when you changed the art from line art to grayscale, it's sort of a special effect like all the movies coming out in 3D, situationally it could add something, but having it on all the time must be a lot of work. You could always just save it for DRAMATIC CLOSEUPS or something. I don't see a need for color, unless you plan on getting a colorist. Girl Genius is done by a 3-person crew, when the colorist is sick it goes back to line art. The general rule of thumb is, if the artist is having fun, the readers are having fun. Don't burn yourself out for strange internet fans :)
