The WWE knows no bounds when it comes to trying to push Roman as their next major face. First, they reunited the Shield out of nowhere because, well, that was the only time Roman was really over as a face. Then they have Braun, who was over pretty big with the fans, suddenly form an alliance with Ziggler and McIntyre, which, again, came out of nowhere. How many handicap matches has Braun dominated and suddenly he needs help? Ziggler and McIntyre, of all people. Why? What happened to the Wyatt Family?

Now I don’t hate Roman as much as a lot of people, but it’s frustrating to see them impede the natural progression of other wrestlers to force him down our throats as a face, when it’s pretty obvious people don’t like the guy. Let the fans decide who they want to cheer and boo.

The WWE needs to stop trying to determine who plays heel and who plays face and allow characters to grow organically. The fans have completely turned on Flair, and yet, rather than allow Becky to state her case as to why she was robbed, they made her deliver the ol’ “the fans are a**holes” shtick. Even after all that, fans were still behind her. And let’s not forget Roman Reigns/John Cena, either.

If things worked this way in the 90’s, the WWE may not have survived the Monday Night Wars; they were pushing Austin as the heel in his feud with Hart and the fans instead rallied around Austin. They ran with the whole sudden Austin face turn and it produced one of their biggest stars in this history of the sport. The same could be said for the Rock to an extent. Rocky Miavia completely flopped as a face. Now imagine if they tried week in and week out to go against the fans’ reactions; the Rock may have never been born. Without those two, the WWE would never have survived WCW and the nWo. Hopefully the WWE can eventually realize what got them here in the first place and let the fans determine who they wanna cheer for.

And even more sad that all of us continue to tune in week after week hoping for change that’s never gonna come.

If we’re talking in terms of pure heels, The Miz, IMO, should be considered one of the all-time greats. I don’t think he’s quite to the level of guys like The Rock, Piper, Rude or Jericho, but, as unpopular as this may be, I think the simple fact that he’s worked as a heel almost exclusively throughout his career puts him above a guy like Austin or Punk.

I loved Austin as a heel, but I always feel like by the time he really caught on as a heel, the crowd started turning and the rest was history. Another guy I’d put the Miz over is Punk who, as great as I thought his SSS run was, was never really given the opportunity to really work his character. It’s crazy to me how much Miz has continued to grow and evolve; the fact that he’s been working almost exclusively as a heel for his career makes it all the more impressive. He’s really been a true workhorse for the company in the mold of a John Cena.

As far as in general, I’d say he’s easily in the Top 50. I tried to put a list together of all time WWE/F greats, and I started to struggle to keep Miz off around the 40’s-50’s range. Now, it’s important that I note that I didn’t include the success wrestlers found in other promotions in the careers of guys on the list, so someone like Goldberg, whose WWE career wasn’t all that impressive, is much lower than had I included his WCW run. If we’re including other promotional success, I’d say he’s sitting closer to the 70-90 range.

I think it’s slightly hypocritical for the WWE to continuously remind us about the Women’s Revolution and how much headway they’re making in regards empowering women and gender equality in sports entertainment, but then turn around and strike a business deal with a country whose customs openly promote female oppression. As if that wasn’t bad enough, but they created a one off PPV specifically for the occasion, knowing full well the women who have busted their a**es for that company couldn’t make the trip; the same women who are at the forefront of a so-called women’s revolution. This is a complete lack of ethics on the WWE’s part.

Song titles generally don't fall within the protection of copyright law since most are not sufficiently original or independently conceived by the artist. Phrases like "born to run" or "on the road again" aren’t sufficiently original so as to deserve legal protection. This is why two completely different songs can share the same title.

I brought this up in another thread: although I agree that it’s a silly lawsuit, maybe the problem isn’t necessarily the tattoos on Randy’s digital counterpart, but rather if 2k replicated the artist’s designs for use on other characters through CAW. Hopefully someone can confirm, because I haven’t played a WWE video game in depth since No Mercy.

Which raises an interesting question: are her designs able to be used as a preset in CAW? If so, her case may have validity.
