OMG I can't believe I'm just reading this! Priceless!!
I wrote this huge, long, funny comment....but I wasn't logged in and I lost it. :/

MY Christmas decor:
A 3ft Christmas tree twist-tied to the top of Gypsy's kennel to keep it from falling over. The bulbs were purchased for their "Shatter-proof" advertisement, and have so far lived up to their name. We didn't have an angel, so I got one of my "Half-shirts/cover-ups" and tied it into a wilted bow to place on top. We don't have a tree skirt, either, and every time we leave the house and lock the dogs in their kennels, we hear Gypsy's report of how the blanket attacked her and forced her to pull it through the bars and chew on it.

Can't wait for part 2!!

LOL That's my pet peeve, too! Thank GOD DJ's a very quiet eater, or I'd go nutz in our quiet house. Pirate and Gypsy, on the other hand, make me want to climb the walls. It *never* fails that DJ and I lay down to go to sleep, and Pirate (cuz Gypsy's too lazy) finds a chewie bone to gnaw on as I'm trying to fall asleep - and of COURSE, it also never fails that I've found the most comfortable, relaxing, sleep-inducing position when he begins his frantic grinding of the bone. So, I either lay there for awhile and try to ignore the sound that sends chills up and down my spine, making me think I'll erupt into a seizure at any moment, or I drag myself out of bed and take the slimy bone away...only to crawl back into bed and stare at the ceiling, tossing and turning trying to rediscover my oh-so-comfy nigh-night position.....Oh, the joys of pet ownership!! ;)
