West Ham Till I Die : #8 Four Great West Ham Goal Keeping Performances

Perhaps my memory is playing tricks but I was there on the wet Monday night when Mervyn made his debut. Despite his great performances subsequently I remember him having a very shakey debut and being partly to blame for two of Ipswich's goals. He made his debut beacause on the Saturday before Bobby Ferguson went over John McDowell and was stretchered off. Bobby went to Australia to sell cars.
