Also, I'm still looking for some help on how to change the bobblehead pic? I have tried almost everything just to show a head shot of the Casey bobble with no success. Peace

Positive notes from the night are, Kuroda got some rust off, Russell will have film to watch on knocking the ball down in front of him, Raffy has entered the building and Shawn Johnson warmed up the Mighty Casey before the game. The Announcers said last night that Blake would have turned two to end the inning on the play that allowed in the 3rd run. The Foundation is missed. His at bat last night was weak as Badger was quick to point out but I'm not worried about the Blake. That's about all for now.... Go Blue

It was an exciting 9th last night but after the game I felt like I needed some questions answered. Why didn't Pierre try to steal 2nd in the 6th last night before Loretta hit into a DP? Why did Milton pinch hit with a runner in scoring position? If your strapped for a hitter and must use a pitcher for this role, why not Wolf? Why didn't Raffy get the start instead of Fidel at SS? Why wasn't anyone else used in place of the human gas can (Mota). I thought we were all waiting for Kershaw to come out of the pen. Mota wasn't horrible last night but I felt Joe was waving the white flag at that point. I'm not as high on the reserve crew as most. They are off to a fast start and showing a big improvement over the last few years but resting two regulars on a Non Sunday game is one too many.

Raffy is raising up and Blake just needs some at bats. Nice comeback but it fall a little short. Still an exciting 9th.

Thanks 51, I thought that was an odd thing to do. The kid just needs more experience and he could prove to be the Key for the Dodgers post season success. Yes I am already counting on post season. Kershaw has that Louisanna magic you just don't find too often. You Know- BlewByU

I for one am disappointed in the news of Kershaw to the pen. I understand some of the reasons but we need this kid to develop into a starter before the playoffs in 2009. We were beat last year in the Playoffs because of our pitching and developing Clayton into a very good starter could only help our chances this year. What are the plans? Have him skip every other start? or he's just assigned to the pen to save his arm? Hasn't other young pitchers ever made it to the big leagues before? Aren't the other young pitchers in the minor leagues prior to making the Majors, pitching every 5-6 days? Do the Dodgers have another pitcher up Ned's sleeve? Bills, Wolf, Kuroda, Milton, Stults. Oh that's right, Stults has a thumb issue. Weaver? I was hoping that once Kuroda returned , our starting staff could get back to normal. Now it's bring one in and move one out. I hope Joe and Honeycup know what they are doing............ Fight on.............

Keep up the good work in here and I'll be putting my two cents in shortly. I am hoping for a split tonight. Go Dodgers....

Tough break for the Dodgers tonight. I could complain about the lack of hitting but then I stopped and thought about us still being in first place with the best record in baseball. I'll reserve my right to complain at a later time. If I was going to complain it would be about the Lakers playing their butts off for the first 20 minutes of the first half only to give back 13 of the 14 point lead they had built up. If they don't win a game in Denver over the next two, they can pack it in. What a disapointment after so much promise this year.

Well the picture of the Casey Blake bobblehead isn't large enough to show up. Maybe I'll try a picture of just his head........ Also I agree with Romo that this weekend is a big deal for the keys to the City. Even if one of the teams don't live here.

Did anyone else wonder why Randy Wolf hit for Weaver in the 5th last night? I thought we were in the 16th inning and out of bench players. The one beer I drank must of really had a powerfull effect or Torre is losing his mind. I think the score board read Wolf is hitting around .105. Well I guess it could of been Sweeney from the last two seasons. Yes Badger, I'm willing to change the bet and allow you to win the Andy the Roach bet. Anything you can think of like most bases loaded bunts or most back injuries, most thumb sortness, just add them on. Why not , I need some exercise. I'm not like Las Vegas where I need to take every penny you got.
