So Engdahl wants the U.S to continue to control and intimidate people in the Middle East and prevent China and Russia from doing any business over there?!?

Nothing new at all. The people in the region called Middle East know all what this American/British stooge stated in his tv interview. However the interview is just a fall out of the current inter Arab conflict which created the so called blockade of Qatar by its neighbors and Egypt. The war against the Syrian government was expected and was announced so many years ago before it was started.
