I am just saying make them earn anything they are given. If you give something to someone for free, they have nothing invested. They will not care what happens to it because it cost them $0. They will just expect another something for free. Similar to the mortgage crisis. All those mortgages with no down payment, now they are all in foreclosure and bankruptcy because the people had nothing of their own invested. So, if the house needs to be bulldozed and you are giving a new house to the tenants, make them work for it. Just making them pay rent and then sending them the money for the rent does nothing but piss me off. There is a project near in the next town, it was a Japanese internment camp in WW2. They made it low income housing. Recently it was replaced by brand new townhouses. I know of people who live there some of them for only $1 per month. Some for $100 per month. Just because they refuse to allow themselves to be educated on how to work. I already pay 37% out of my paycheck for taxes, that's enough. So, if those people in DC want to push over some houses, they should let the tenants go live with them for free. Don't bother me with it. Or teach them how to work.
