He managed Walter Mondale's 1984 presidential campaign and he has a career as a political analyst? I guess nothing succeeds like failure for the progressives.

A hooker may kiss his ass, but it costs extra, and judging from the size of his ass he couldn't afford it.

I though it was Swedish. Swedish and German are similar with many of their words. Probably one of my favorite Bergman movies, though.

Big Hollywood : 'Dexter' Review: You Will Love This Serial Killer

I'm not really into dark dramas that humanize despicable people, regardless of the artistic merit. This whole fascination with the dark side confuses me. Vampires and werewolves I can understand, they're fantasy and campy. But serial killers do exist, and a series about one seems a little over the top for me. Would people still watch it if it were about a serial pedophile? Would the series be less entertaining if it didn't have serial killing as it's central theme? I'm certainly not a prude, and enjoy adult themes as much as any here, but can't get into the mindset to relate to a murderer.

Not to mention that Charles Bronson could, and has, played the cowboy, the Indian and the Mexican with equal effectiveness. Chato's Land is a truly underappreciated Western.

I agree. The Outlaw Josey Wales is outstanding and well paced throughout. Chief Dan George is a hoot, but Sondra Locke was awful (has she ever been good in a role?). The only problem with Once Upon a Time in the West was the excessive length of the platform scene and the showdown between Harmonica and Frank. Each could have been shortened by five minutes and it would still have been effective. Magnificent sets, cinematography and soundtrack throughout the movie, and no one is more badass than Charles Bronson. Henry Fonda really seemed to enjoy playing the villian and Claudia Cardinale was breathtakingly beautiful.

Big Hollywood : TV We Like: You Don't Have to Like Louis C.K. to Like 'Louie'

There's a plethora of equally talented people struggling to attain success that are deserving of support, so why underwrite people who openly despise me and my values? The only avenue to protest open to me is how I choose to spend my entertainment dollar.

Actually, the story I heard was that his competition was to be with Forrest Tucker, also regarded as "blessed" in that regard. Hadn't heard it about Mickey Rooney, but considering he had 8 wives it's certainly plausible.

Big Hollywood : Sarah Palin: The Perfect Feminist

I have no problem with his being an athiest, just his attitude toward Christianity. God's grace and mercy is either something you accept or don't. It's offered to all and you have the free will to decline it. That doesn't necessarily make someone a bad person, but to some athiests it isn't just enough to not believe just as some Christians are unable to accept allowing someone to exercise their free will. Believe what you will, we'll all find out the truth in the end.

If I were a conservative woman, I wouldn't ever admit to kissing David Duchovny. According to what I've read (here, if I recall), he's an avowed atheist who relishes belittling Christianity. I suppose a sex addict, like he's purported to be, would have to take that viewpoint in order to use and abuse the groupies who flocked to him. I hope you keep getting roles, even living outside the bubble. The problem is more about too few roles being available for maturing actresses and Hollywoods obsession with youth rather than choosing to live in "real America".
