Well... that happened.

Here's what I can say so far, and for feedback if the author is reading:

1) what to do on the second area is not obvious at all. I only got past it because I remembered seeing a video and knew you could drag things with the mouse

2) artwork is beautiful, I think currently the best of any MLP game under development. Twi's animations are a bit stuff when walking however.

3) I would provide feedback on the gameplay, but there isn't any. %98 of the game is holding down the D button walking right. If I missed something, I should not have been able to pass so easily.

4) The foliage is beautiful, but more of it needs to go into the background. I was not able to see myself for an uncomfortable amount of time and it made things really awkward. Its also not obvious what you can jump on and what you will pass through.

You should really think about your comments before you post them...

who said we were kids?
The vast majority of the people I've met in this fandom are over 18, and out of the 35 or so programmers I've met, only one wasn't an adult.

Besides, fandom or not, kids or not, you have to follow the law if you want to stay out of trouble with this kind of stuff.

Thanks, would very much appreciate it

Also, I think I should say that this code is very well put together on the whole.

Well because the technology you write for a fan game, or any software for that matter, can become a vital part or framework for a future project that you may want to protect. That's happened to me several times before. I always make sure the stuff isn't under GNU GPL, because if it is, you may as well just not own it. You can study it sure, but it probably will not save you a significant amount of work anymore (which is the point of code reuse).

Basically, I'm just saying that if you're not careful, it can come back to bite you hard. You can indeed lose everything. It would be nice if we could all just chill out, but i'm afraid legalities just don't work that way.

It can also get you sued if you don't have one

Depends what type of work you're doing. If your work has to be for profit, or you are restricted from releasing source code, then the GNU GPL is your worst nightmare, and essentially forces you to reinvent the wheel x100 over. Thats why I highly favor MIT liscense. Origional creator still gets credit, and the new authors can benfit from their work
