Bernie's whole shtick has a very Hugo Chavez/Nicholas Maduro thing about it. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is that reminds me of Chavez, but it might have to do with the blatant vilification of members of the same society. As the campaign wears on, he has migrated from a crazy-uncle personality with some odd but thought provoking economic ideas to a full bore us-vs-them demagogue in the South American socialist style."

Will do a post on this but they they changed the mobile site so it's a slightly less painful experience. They're still working on integrating the comments but for now, if you're reading DB on your phone, ipad, etc, click the little icon in the top right corner and another one with a little comment bubble will show up, click 'comment' and it will take you to them.
