Unless you spend a lot of time in theaters with your eyes shut and a finger stuck in each ear, or don't go there at all, how is it even an option?
As for why someone would seek out a trailer on the Internet, that's obviously to get an idea of whether or not they want to see the film.
Which is, you know, the whole point of a trailer. And spoiling everything has the opposite effect, so why trailers do it is a real mystery.

Rainbow Dash versus TR-8R.
Who is the true element of loyalty?

I watched TFA again and somehow liked it much more than the first time.
There are still things about it that irk me but it is a very good movie.

That just shows that we humans can't cope with others disagreeing with us.
Explains a lot, really.

That same logic could be turned against the like button.
If you agree with someone, try to further support their position.
Do not just vote for them as if truth were a democracy.

What is the biggest irony, though?
That an advocate of the dislike button would be countered with that same button?
Or that detractors of the dislike button would make their opinion known through it?

Though what we really need is for likes and dislikes to be counted separately.

I would argue that merely disagreeing with a comment is enough reason to downvote it, the whole point of the button being there, and should not be treated as if you had just reported someone.

Now, if heavily downvoted comments disappear, that means the site designers themselves are doing it wrong.
