Dear Dev Team,

i just unlocked my 3GS 4.1 old baseband 05.14.02, now ipad baseband.
It all worked out perfectly! Its my first iphone and im more than happy... and you know what? Its even better now, since I had to wait for a month ^^ Now Im a proud owner of my first apple product and its unlocked!
THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS! (I needed to scream that, sorry ;))

I have the same iphone as you have. My iphone isnt jailbroken yet, can you tell me very short which steps I need to do to unlock it?

Hey Guys,
now its finally the time that I read I can unlock my first apple product (iphone) as a windows user, too :) I really tried to read all the instructions, but now I'm really scared to do anything wrong. I would really appreciate it if you would help me to get the unlock step by step :)

I have an iphone 3GS, FW 4.1, baseband 05.13.04, carrier unlocked by telekom germany, not jailbroken yet.
I read the risks and accept them to unlock it finally!

Thank you guys so much!
But now I see that a lot of us who where waiting for the unlock seem to be a little confused.
Here are my questions:
1. Can I unlock my 3GS 05.13.02 (FW 4.1) with windows now?
2. Do I need to upgrade to 4.2 for that?! --> Im really scared of that, since we're all were told not to do it the last days.
3. Will it have any negative consequences for me to upgrade to this ipad baseband?

I guess thats the best way, too! It's better to wait until some guys have expierience and see if it works... I mean we've all been waiting for so long... is it worth to ruin it now in a couple of secounds? Better wait one or two hours I think.
