Maybe not... For him the arsenal move wasn't that bad! He developed wonderfull in London.. So.. Maybe he would be even better if he staid here, maybe worse.. There's no-one who can say that but wat is a fact is that he made a good choise since he turned out to be one of the greatest midfielders...

After the WC he'll be expensive as well! I say let's go for our own youth (JDS, Thiago).. no worries if no midfielder leaves.. Should Pep notice in mid-august that they are'n't ready then we should think about an alternative.. Maybe even Hleb would do just fine!

Indeed! WE HAVE BEEN BIG SPENDERS AS WELL - IN THE PAST AND PRESENT! But what we do, is give our youth a chance too, that's why I don't worry about "losing" talents like JDS and Thiago (and Muniesa, Bartra,...) they will get a chance! Cesc is staying put at Arsenal. We only offer 30M max wich we (Barca and Arsenal) know is not sufficient. Why? Because Cesc announst that he wants to come, so we make a little effort to let him see we also want him (but not yet) I think that's right strategy to use. If in a season or two our upcoming talents (JDS & Thiago) are'n't good enough then there's Fab, If they are good enough then Fab could still come knowing the great Xavi has reached the difficult 32 year old margin. So he just has a year or two left at the top. Then Cesc would be great to fill the steps... I think that would be the ideal way.. Let's hope it comes to that... :)

I don't mean sign, I mean having enough options: Puyol, Pique, Milito, .... (marquez out?), Chyggy owkey but it would be better to have an other one ready (like botia, bartra..) should : chyggy have an other bad season or should Dani or Puyol get injured..
