Unfortunately, they are "bringing it." International Islam is deploying the Womb Bomb and unfettered immigration (aided and abetted by Obama, the MSM, academia, etc.) to turn the US into a Muslim land within 150 years. If we keep sleepwalking through the next century, our great granddaughters will be wearing burkhas.

I wonder when this story will appear in the MSM?
Imagine if a UN report castigated any Western country for poor treatment of women (likley to happen next month too show "balance", as if there can be balance between beatings and no beatings)?

I respectfully disagree. A battered woman living in a mud hut in any country will remain cowed if she detects that there is no interest in her plight from outside the hut. On the other hand, if she knows that forces outside her hut are moving to free her (or at least encourage her), she will be much more motivated to seek freedom. I often think of the Iranian (or Tianamen) protesters looking hopefully to the skies for real support from the West while being crushed by tanks and baton-wielding (men) thugs. We abandoned them.

Toward Islam we should adopt the Cold War policy of Containment used so successfully against Communism (another world-dominating death cult). That is, keep our defenses strong, fight against internal subversion, and do all in our power to encourage freedom on the other side of the Iron (burkah) curtain.

DE, Your analysis is correct, but I'm not sure it sends the Mullahs any new message. They have already taken the measure of the West and found it ripe for the plucking. Our leaders fall (or bow) all over themselves in their rush to appease the Islamsupremacists. Even the so-called Moderate Muslims in the street know the West is in increasingly rapid decline. At this point, I think the Mullahs merely laugh at such G8 pronouncements.
The West was able to summon the courage and will at the very last minute in 1939, but can we again?
