I am a simple man I was born and raised on a small farm in central NJ. I have had to work hard for everything that I have. Between my wife and I we have built a descent life for our eight year old little boy. We try as best we can though things are not always easy, we don’t complain for we are living the American Dream and all I ask is for our government not to take this away from us and to let that dream live on for our grandchildren . Let’s be honest with everyone. Law-abiding people should never be punished for crimes that they do not actually commit. I am no more responsible if someone steals a gun from my home and uses it for a crime then I am if someone steals my truck and uses it for crime. However I do not see the government trying to stop anyone from owning a truck. The gun owners are not the problem, the criminals are the problem so punish them. Guns are nothing more than a tool like a knife or a hammer, how is it that this is so hard to understand … Now let me say that I like the whole “Buy American” thing, but you cannot force this on an already sluggish economy for this will cost us just as many jobs as it as it creates. You need to do this kind of thing over time not over night so companies can adjust and be prepared for this when it happens . Stop and think if you create five hundred jobs but in the process you lose five hundred jobs then what’s the point? The first thing is why so many people expect the government/tax payers to give them freebies. No one owes you anything. If you want something then get a job just like all the tax payers that you want to take care of you. JUST STOP before it’s to late to save our country.. Why is it so hard for the government to see that they have the working class by the throat and we are almost out of breath? We can’t give anymore. If you keep taking from those that do, to give to those that don’t then why will anyone keep going and doing everything that made us this great country in the first place? I do not see how giving to those not willing to seek it on there own is ever going to fix anything. Look I don’t have a problem with helping those that honestly can’t help themselves.
