I would think that number would be tiny, but perhaps you know some figures? But I would guess that a lot of people with a bike worth insuring would list is as an item on their home insurance and a lot would have no insurance at all. So if a cyclist comes out of a side road without looking on my way home tonight (and it does happen!) and damages my car, causes me to swerve into someone elses car, or (heaven forbid) kills themselves, I better keep my fingers crossed that they are one of the few with insurance?
