Cause at 11pm Cedar Rapids was already way over 6 inches in my opinion. My apartment complex parking lot is small, surrounded by buildings, minus the entrance, which helps block some of the wind so it doesn't cause huge drifting. So the snow depth was close to even across the lot when plows came through.... there was at least 10 or 11 inches then. and by the looks of it at least a couple more have fallen since.
