Had Coach Kelly had the class to stick to his word and have LeGarrette Blount sit the entire season, it would have been easier to cheer for our in-state rivals. Interesting to note, what comes around goes around. 1) Blount was responsible for the key fumble that ended any hopes of a Duck comeback. 2) The Rose Bowl in a way was a curse to UO. It kept the Blount "punch" alive in all media circles creatingting a bit of a public relations debacle. The Blount punch video was shown just prior to kick-off and was mentioned 7 times by ABC's play-by-play commentators.
