Christians and people of other faiths who truly follow the teachings of their faith (which is also grounded in natural law, may I add), are being persecuted because weak and perverse politicians in their countries have been pre ganged into creating unjust immoral laws. It's a terribly difficult situation. I myself have not gone for certain jobs since civil unions became legal in the UK. Now, to work in a register office, a hotel, events business, adoption agency, or every day pharmacy, you could so easily find yourself breaking the perverse law of the land if you refuse to participate in civil unions, provide adoptions to gay couple or dish out abortifacient medicines. What on earth is going on? I think we as Christians need to be ready to break unjust laws. Scary as it is to draw attention to ourselves, may be when our lawyers and politicians find themselves forced to persecute, fine, imprison or harm in any other way, so many people who practise their faith, it would force them to rethink the laws.
