City spokeswoman Joy Johnston says the 12-foot-wide bridge is safer than the 5-foot sidewalk along the street.....................................Hum, then how safe are the 3 foot bike lanes? What about all the other sidewalks in the city? "are they unsafe" What a poor explaination for another waste of tax payers dollars when cities are cutting back due to lack budget restrictions.

What I'm saying in the public eye is does not look good! I work for a local Fire Department and NO Circumstances are we to take any Department Vehicle out and park or go into any place of Business unless it's for Offical use only. ie Inspections or Calls.
