A distinction between benefits and reimbursements is like the difference between your salary and your paycheck. Which is to say there isn't one. Nice listing of all the other talking points. Axelrod will send your carton of smokes forthwith. Of course the GM plant closed a line under Bush and idled the rest under Obama, as Ryan suggested, and so on. Another Donk liar calling everyone else a liar. Must be a day ending in "y".

: Monitoring Islam-Critics in Norway

That's some grim predicting there. I'm anti-violence religious or political. Self defense is the only exception. Not a big fan of civil wars or mass vigilante justice either. Maybe I'm too old for the 'excitement' or more likely that I appreciate how easy we've had it as a generation compared to nearly every other in human history. Lots of people seem to be willing to scrap that too easily through willful blindness and crazy immigration policies. The whole idea of the US was to not have the religious wars which plagued Europe for centuries, much less the even bigger religious war before that. There are, what, 57 so-called Islamic states for Muslims who want to live under sharia. Don't need any more.

The basis of multiculturalism is that every other ideology has to buy into the notion of sharing space with other cultures and ideologies. Islam doesn't do that. At some point the Left has to come to grips with embracing gay marriage and the respect for a culture and medieval legal system which hangs gays from cranes. Going to be bumpy. While we're looking for indicia of Nazism don't forget vegetarian artist. By my calculations, Breivik can serve (at most) 3.27 months per murder if he serves the full 21 years. Europe might want to take a more anti-murder stance before worrying about whether someone says "dhimmi". Jihad does mean struggle and when followed by "in the cause of Allah" is often _and traditionally_ interpreted as holy war against non-Muslim kafirs, polytheists, musrikun, idolaters, but especially Jews. Is that really so hard to get going on eleven years after 9/11? If "Islam is the Solution" the problem must be a lack of reasons to kill one another.

Does it bother you being a lefty claiming everyone should follow police orders even when doing nothing illegal? Zimmerman shares some responsibility for what took place, but not enough to defeat a claim of self defense. Having said that, I expect a conviction on something to pacify the seething mob in hopes of preventing more violence.

Islam ipsa loquitur. Great points. Probably like many Americans I learned about Islam slowly after Iran's national slogan became "Death to America!" It's actually comical to watch the media spin furiously for Islam at this point. The silly juxtaposition of a journalist obviously ignoring reality while a plot is foiled in Denmark and more bombs go off in Yemen and Kenya. Which obviously have nothing in common other than "unemployment, racism, and poverty." To suggest otherwise is just rightwing Islamophobia. Yadda...yadda...yadda... It's just so absurd at this point.

So your takeaway from this is Ann Coulter called you a Democrat? Being so absurdly factually wrong as to make the now-famous NC teacher look like James Madison would seem to be more a concern. You REPORT for a living?!
So you can have your own facts? I actually had to check to make sure it wasn't April First or that I clicked the Onion. The crazy is strong in them. This reminds me of all the recalculations they've made on the inflation rate and ignoring persistent unemployment. By 1970s standards, when the 'basket of goods' included more food and less notebook computers, our inflation rate is up around 10%. Amazing how the Left always manages to really stick it to the poor. Like the proposed food tax, as regressive a tax as could ever be created.

If you're attempting to respond to my post you might want to read it again. Breivik: copied al Qaeda.
Breivik referred to his mass murder spree as a "martyrdom operation" and he copied al Qaeda's bomb-shoot techniques used in Afganistan and Iraq. His was obviously impressed by al Qaeda more than anyone else. Still waiting for the Left to condemn the small matter of 100,000,000+ killed by socialism in the 20th Century alone. I know, "real socialism has never been tried yet." Despite literally dozens of efforts all leading to totalitarianism and often death camps, socialism is a lot like Islam in that the most devout never get it right. Ironically it often leads to hereditary monarchies as in North Korea and Cuba: The Circle of Human Brutality.

The Communists did kill over a hundred million people last century, and continue to be on a roll in places like North Korea. From the inside, a death camp for political prisoners probably looks the same no matter who runs it. I don't see how acknowledging the crimes of the Communists diminishes the crimes of the Nazis.

Big Peace : Libya: Dictator Down, Islam Rising

If you look at the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights in Islam (1990) the same trick is used as in the new Libyan 'constitution'. The document is front-loaded with terms which make concerned, but lazy and stupid, westerners think their notion of human rights is respected. But later in the document all the sweet-sounding platitudes are abrogated by a passage making sharia the major source of law and only means of statutory interpretation. People continue to fall for it. Yes Obama, but almost everyone else, and especially the mainstream media is... "...demonstrating a fundamental failure to perceive what is, in fact, a determined regional sweep by the forces of jihad and shariah." (FIFY)
