OK. Point taken. The Pinto was crap ugly too. Only AMC was able to top it. BTW, Nestlé is a Swiss company. It is also the parent company of three of the major bottled water brands sold in the US. Coca Cola is actually second, PepsiCo third. 8 million plastic water bottles a day in the US alone. Glad you're paying attention! I have to agree with you. Like you, I am a moderate. Fiscally conservative. Social liberal. Wish pragmatism would be used more often. Really wish my D friends weren't so willing to hand out our monies so readily, but also believe that some, SOME social welfare is a positive thing. Your college is renovating its stadium or dormitories? Your share: $50 to $250. The UW is on a building spree around 41st and NE Campus Parkway. These incredibly ugly, oddly placed windowed, dark grey pieces of crap will need to be torn down in twenty more years. Doesn't seem like money well spent. Of course Terry/Lander isn't a majestic work, either. But there's part of the problem right there.

I agree with PurrlGurrl, 7-9% losses seem a bit low to use a drug. And quite within the range of even a mild change in a persons eating and exercise habits. Can relate to how hard it can be to shed pounds, but even small steps toward better health should be promoted before prescribing med's.

I used to buy these until the word came out months ago. Also bought some dried salmon treats once. The packaging proudly claimed that they were from Wild Alaska Salmon! Further reading of the fine print; 'processed in China'. So the fish were caught in US waters, boated to China, dried and cut up, then shipped back to the US. My head spins even though I understand macro economics.
