You miss the substance of her response... even had the investigation been better it still would not have yielded any fruit where the bribery allegations are concerned. Even if the police presented the DPP with video of Warner himself accepting cash and/or distributing the same, with a clear intent to influence the FIFA elections... this is not a crime under our laws, same as most other nations.

Yeah... don't you feel much MUCH safer that those rusty guns are off the streets? Thank God the borders are now secure and the government has a plan to prevent more guns from flooding Trinidad.

My sympathies to the family but this statement here underscores a fundamental problem with Trinidadians. The problem isn't the fact that she was out after hours.... the problem lies in the fact that she was not wearing her seatbelt. Maybe she would not have survived the accident anyways, but being ejected from a moving vehicle pretty much guarantees death or serious bodily injury to occupants of the vehicle.

At any rate... may the victim RIP.
