The show was ALWAYS for little girls. Changes made to it are not due to that. Absence of things that were there before has nothing to do with that. Bad writing is not caused by that. The only argument which "it's a show for little girls" would be relevant to would be someone suggesting graphic violence or clop should actually be included in the show. But let us remember, even then, we have had rather graphic SUGGESTIONS of violence (remember the bear?), countless sexual jokes, and even jokes about alcohol; so I question how far that goes even in those arguments. There are a lot of people who feel a deep connection to the show. I am not really one of them, but I know a few people who are. It's horribly hateful to attack people like you just did because they feel betrayed by these changes, when you have no idea how important the show/character/etc. might have been to them the way it was, and you should just stop now, while you're ahead. I think the show is going downhill and isn't going to last more than two more seasons, but that's not the only sort of sentiment at work here, and it's high time people start being a little more respectful, and stop acting like it is wrong to question the writers, to feel hurt by the way the show is going, or anything else, for that matter.
