California is a state where the tax eaters outnumber the tax payers. Those who think everything from the government is "free" and want more and more of it, are going to outvote those who pay. Taxes will skyrocket, spending will skyrocket even more than that, and the productive middle class will not be able to afford to stay here, even if they have jobs an want to stay. The good news is that the coming collapse of this state (Greece on the Pacific) will be sooner rather than later, as a Whitman governorship would only prolog the agony. The sooner that the idiot philosophy of liberals is ashes, the sooner a fair and just society can start building again in this state.
