I didn't see what Santorum said as an admonishment to Rush. He said Rush was being absurd, which Rush was, on purpose. Like when Breitbart was calling the Occupies "Rapists". A few months back my ten year old daughter said to me, "Dad, I wish everyone were rich." and I said to her, "If everyone were rich then no one would be...." and waited for her to finish the sentence. She didn't get it, so I filled it in for her, "If everyone were rich, then no one would be rich." She looked at me with a puzzled look and I asked her, "If everyone were rich, who would make your clothes?" and she said, "I would pay someone." and I said, "But, if they were rich, why would they care?" and she puzzled it out. I was proud of her. My ten year old daughter is now smarter than most liberals.

Seems to me like the Republicans are equally to blame here if there is no budget. If there is no budget, why aren't they forcing one? They aren't forcing one because of what happened under Clinton. The government shut down and supposedly, if you believe the media, the Republicans got the blame. So now the Republicans are afraid to do what's right. Shouldn't they demand a budget? If we control the House, then there shouldn't be any allocations of money to spend until there is a budget. By letting the Democrats and the President get away with this, they are setting a standard for the future where they will have no excuse. If for three years the House Republicans have been going along with no budget, then when it does come time to put the foot down, what are they going to say?

I consider myself politically savvy but I honestly do not understand this one. I do understand what Congress is, and the difference between the House and the Senate. But if you go to wikipedia (Yes, I know, not the most reliable source) it has a web page for the 2012 budget. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_United_States_f... Here is the key bit: "The actual appropriations for Fiscal Year 2012 were enacted as three appropriations bills in November and December 2011, in accordance with the United States budget process. In addition, legislation was passed to extend a cut in the Social Security payroll tax for the first two months of calendar year 2012, with a full-year extension currently under discussion in Congress." Are appropriation bills not considered a budget? Seriously, not trying to troll here, just don't understand the intricacies here.

All this is about is the destruction of marriage. Fools cannot see past the nose on their face. As to the rest of us, it's quite clear. You remember the old saying when you were a kid, "One guy ruined it for all of us." this is the hope with gay marriage. They don't want marriage also, they want to abolish the institution all together. It's like the word Racist. Back in the 80's when I heard the word racist used, I thought of dirty, evil, frothing at the mouth, backwoods, white trash stringing up black men in trees. Now when I hear the word racist, it goes in one ear and out the other. Back in the 80's if I heard a woman was raped, I thought of a dark alley, some fat sweaty disgusting man and a poor innocent woman being brutally beaten and sexually assaulted. Now when I hear rape, I think of some half dressed hot chick who got drunk at a party and regretted her actions the next morning. Have they made Racism and Rape better or worse? You call good people Racist long enough, it doesn't turn good people into Racists, it turns the word Racist on it's head. And this is what they will do with marriage. What is a marriage? Pretty simple, really. 1 adult male, 1 adult female. What if we throw homosexuals into the bunch? 1 adult male and 1 adult male, or 1 adult female and 1 adult female, or 1 adult male and 1 adult female. Anyone think it stops there? What's the justification for changing the old paradigm? I hear it's love. If it's love, then why only 2 adults? Can't 3 adults equally love? Why not 4? Or let's say we stick with 1 adult married to another adult. Why are they married? Because they love or because they are having sex? If it's just for love (And not for procreation) then why not two buddies? To male friends or two female friends? I mean, let's say I live with a friend and he takes care of me. It's better if we're married if he's working because it will lower his taxes, right? What if i'm in the military, serving overseas, and another guy approaches me and says, "Hey, I would like to immigrate to the United States." can I just marry him and help him immigrate? Must I have sexual relations with him to be "married" to him? You see where this is going? Eventually, people will say, "Why do married people get tax breaks? Why do married people get to immigrate? What's so special about marriage?" And given enough years down the road the answer will be, "Nothing." And then they will have won.

If I were the Republican candidate for the President, every time I went in for an interview like this, I would come loaded with lot's of ammunition. What do this guy say about Sarah Palin when she was running for Vice President and had her family? Was he supportive or did he do news stories highlighting people critical of her for being a working mom? You have to expect really idiotic questions like this. I just cannot listen to Glenn Beck anymore. While I find that when he does talk about some things, it's interesting, he almost never talks about anything anymore. I flick on his radio show in the morning and all I hear is, "Tonight, we're going to reveal something to you that will shock you. It will amaze you. You won't believe what we have to show you." blah blah blah. In essence, he says nothing. He just goes on and on about what he intends to go on and on about, but you have to pay his fee to see/hear it. With that being said, I don't take this article as a criticism on Glenn Beck. Just like Andrew Breitbart isn't responsible for anything Nolte writes, neither is Beck responsible for what this idiot wrote on the Blaze.
